The BSA EDGE Method
This video is about the BSA EDGE method, a teaching method used to easily and quickly communicate lessons.
The BSA EDGE method is an acronym for Explain, Demonstrate, Guide, Enable. These are the steps used when teaching with the method.
Step 1: Explain to your scouts how to tie a square knot.
Step 2: Demonstrate the knot to your scouts.
Step 3: Help your scouts tie a square knot themselves.
Step 4: Allow your scouts to try by themselves until they get it.
It is a fairly simple process to understand and use.
